Does anyone else hate this time of year as much as I do? I worry so much about my son's teacher. Is she going to be patient? Is it going to be a year where every day it's a note or a bad day. It seems as if even though you talk to the teachers and let them know your child has ADHD there still is no tolerance for his behaiver. Sometimes I have no tolerance for his behaiver. I just hate the constant worrying when you send them off to school if he's doing ok. Is he having problems? Is he making and keeping friends? Can anyone tell me their secret on how to deal with these?

Chris. Sending my son back to school each year is always my biggest worry. My son is constantly on my mind all day and I have the hardest time focusing on what I need to do. My son starts middle school this year, so it's no longer just 1 teacher that I'll be dealing with, it will be 7 plus his special ed teacher. By the way, is your son receiving special education services from the school? Does he have an IEP. I have less concerns for my son academically since he's been receiving services. Having your son tested might be something to think about. Lets keep in touch.

I have the same problem my daughter who is 9 is always in trouble at school as she cannot sit still and she always gets classed as naughty, and as you said they have no tolerance, I worry about her at scholl constantly as she has trouble mixing with other children and i feel so guilty sending her, if there is some secret a lot of us would like to know but good luck
