Help, I'm so tired. I have a 4 year old grandson who has lived with us since he was 2 weeks old. At a year old he had kidney surgery, lasser eye surgery & ear nose & throat surgery. He was diagnosed at school with ADD/ADHD and last year and this year he is in a prekindergarten under developing motor skills. He is so sweet but as he gets older he has to have it his way. He had laser eye surgery on Friday and Monday his eye is swollen because he would not use ice packs, yes I tried every kind of ice pack there was and yes I'm suppose to be in charge but I get so angry because he just doesn't want it and I have to chase him under beds or when it's time for drops in the eyes my husband and I have to fight and hold him so he doesn't kick us. We live in a very small town where we came to retire but getting a 4 year old (which I love and would not change) leaves little in the way of friends or understanding. Talking to the doctor who did the surgery some kids who have ADHD don't take to ice packs very well. The older he gets the less he listens the more aggravated I get ↓
