| He is on Ritalin and Clonidine(sp). At first hte Ritalin was working well and now it doenst seem to be. And the same with the Clonidine. ↑ |
My son was on Ritalin and we hated it. My hubby was always antidrug anyway but this didn't help, we didn't put him on any until he was 10. Too many mood swings.
Son was put on Concerta and that really helped. It's not easy no matter what. We didn't like the drug factor, so he only took it for school and then he was drug free. It's a matter of having to have the time and patience to help your children too. They are young.

| when my husband and i were not on the same page it made my son 10 times worse, i have learned that these kids are very sensitive and any cayous or conflict in the home can make there anxietys worse there for the behaviours get worse. my husband would not support me or even take the time to understand what was going on with or son but now do to personal sercomstances he is finally getting on board and sees the change in our son and we both support each other. it takes time. just make sure you and your husband spend time together without kids often no matter what, this is important. There are parent relief programs out there you should try to get this and they will come to your home and take care of your child while you have a break. good luck to the future sorry i got rambling hope some of this makes sense ↑ |
