I am at a loss of what to do: my 10 year old was "asked" to leave the daycare last week and I received that call at 5 pm on Thursday. The school, I had kept in good communications with, had suddenly stopped emailing me and calling me, so I had thought that "no news is good news" as did our Physchologist and family. To learn late last week, that the teachers decided that the emails were redundant. I am furious, and feel shut out as I am sure my son does too. He has been on a medication roller coaster all school year, and we have tweaked and tweaked: I think finally we are good, but now I hear that he is arguing all of the time. I realize that the homefront, my spouse and I divorcing, is probably the cause, as his 'age' of which I expect this stage somewhat: but I fear that he will be sent to alternative school soon. Do you think that now, he is medicated, and has reality of his parents divorcing, that he is simply acting out? Do you think that now, at 10, he is just learning the "school rules and ropes" and testing limits? He seems to argue quite a bit even at home. But what do I do, to encourage the school to finishg the school year out with me, to bare with me? What do I say?

HE ALSO HAS AFRIEND WHO HAS ODD AT FIRST I THOUGHT HE WAS JUST A BRAT BUT I FIND AFTER RESEARCHNG THIS THAT IT IS INDEED A LEGIT DISORDR MAYBE YOUR DOCTOR COULD DO WHATEVER HE CAN TO CHECK OUT THESE TWO THINGS.
