i dont have a child under 5 but i noticed something wasnt quite right when my son was 3, he is now 7 and a half and attending CAMHS. he is driving me mad i cry and worry about him so much.
its affecting all of us, my husband and my other son too.
We seem to be controlled by my son and everything is around him, it can be so unfair.
It makes me feel so ill that im actuallly on medication myself so i can get thro the day.
i just dont know what else to do. its so hard.
just letting u know that there is other people going thro it that u can talk to.just dont give up.

| So after reading several entries was wondering has anyone used natural remedies in young kids with ADHD? My four year old girl doesn't connect when being 'naughty' and just laughs when I get so frustrated am crying..... She does what I call spiraling out of control and just goes from one thing to next getting into stuff. Also I can't even hold a short conversation because she runs out of sight and don't have any idea what she will do, like run across street or get into anything like a baby does... CAN ANYONE RELATE OR MAYBE IT ISN"T JUST ADHD]]] I want to help her in the best way. I also have a 13 yr old with ADHD, husband who had and still has some of it, and then weird enough I am ADD within the last couple of years.... CRAZINESS Who would like to know I am not alone... ↑ |

| My four year old is really giving me a hard time. When he was 3 i noticed a big change in his attitude and the way he would act towards certain situations. His pediatrician did some test on him and said he had ADHD, My brother has ADHD and in HS I was diagnosed with ADD. His pediatrician said she wouldnt put him on any medications until he was between the ages of 5-7. She wanted to wait and see if he grew out of it. It has only gotten worse. The mornings are hard, daycare is getting worse and i honestly do not know what to do. Maybe a second opinion or just maybe let it ride out and see how it goes.I honestly dont want him on any type of medication but i really need to look into something maybe natural help him out. Does anyone have any suggestions? ↑ |

| I will pray for you and your son. do you think the divorce has hurt your son? does he see his dad? your son might not need the meds yet but it depends. why did you think he was adhd in the first place for him to see doctor. I want to be a friend and help you. ↑ |

| My 5 year old was diagnosed with ADHD two days ago :( I knew from when he was very little he was different.i had to push and push to get the right people listening.the childrens psychologist gave me a set of questions to fill out and return,the nursery were given some too followed up by a cpn assessing him at nursery.i was involved in lots of meetings throughout this process.it took over 6 months to find out it was ADHD.at first I thought it could be autistic spectrum disorder but turned out not to be ↑ |
