Change the meds if they don't work. Another med might work better. Did you ever think that your daughter might have been misdiagnosed! It happens. Children that suffer from anxiety ( similar symptons to ADHD) and are put on ADHD medicine have a reverse reaction! Look on the internet for similarities of the two!

My son is 11 and he is the terror of our house also. Changing meds can help but therapy is also needed to make real positive strides. Play therapy can help with agression. OT can channle energy into creating craft items. Physical Therapy can help kids with ADHD to devlope the bodies in to a condition where they can learn to channle out burst in to physical activity if they need to. If your kids can read and write books about kids who do positive things and journals to write out what is happening to them are great too.
Be totaly sure that your child has great hearing, vision, balance and that you know about food allergies.

It may be the meds that make her angery. It is just finding a happy medium. it took us 4 yrs. and switching meds and dosages.

don't think that I can help you. My daughter is 5 and I'm just now accepting that she has got to take meds

I know how you feel though. I said the same thing earlier this week and last week, and...Does it help you to know that you're not the only one?

I certainly understand your pain. I have a boy who is 13 and has severe adhd we are having a real hard time right now. He do not listen, take discipline. All the meds we have tried him on do not seem to work and the only true answer I have is to give your troubles to God and ask him to help you. This helps our family but we still require many timeouts to refocus on daily life.
