my daughter is 2 years old. She was different from birth, poor muscle tone, social but never explored or played with toys. Always in to everything and couldn;t remain still ever. She drank bottle after bottle; never full. SLowly we discovered she had food allergies. We have now discovered with extensive testing that she is allergic to almost every common food. Soy, milk, egg, wheat, various grains, various fruits, almost all meats, nuts, many legumes and so on. her face gets red, some times hives and some times less. At other times she gets red even without food. As we have gotten in more and more results, we have removed the foods and her symptoms and various delays are drastically reducing. Her muscle tone has drastically improved, and she can sit still, doesn't slur her words as much or talk as fast and comprehends much more. Is it possible that she was so malnurished from the allergies that it caused her delays and ADHD? She still has a short attention span and is compulsive at times, but much improving daily. Has any one experienced this or know anything?
