My name is Debbie and I have a HFA 15 year old son. I'm very happy to have found this site, even though I was hoping that the " Moms with Teens" group was a post for parents who have autistic teens.
It's so difficult to find such message/chat forums.
Does anyone here have an older child? If not, I would love to chat just the same.

hi i have a 6 year old with austim named hailey and a son named brad he is 4. brad acts like haliy do you think i should have him tested for austim? Or is he just acting like his older sister? Alos any tips on getting a asustic child to talk???[she can only say sounds like miiiiiiiimmmmmmmmmm] ↑

Hi Debbie, my daughter was just recently diagnosed with autisim. She is 14. I am a single working mom and I am having a very difficult time. She throws tantrums in public, repeats everything constantly. Everything has to be extremely structured for her. She has a photographic memory, which I think is amazing. I am currently trying to enroll her in an autistic school. I would love to chat anytime! ↑
