My son Matthew is 8 years old and has been "pee pee" potty trained since age 4, however he refuse to go "poo" on the potty. Not only will he only go in his diaper or underwear, he now hols it for as long as possible, sometimes a week to 10 days! We have tried social stories, books, movies, even punishments, (such as no more play station!) and even rewards.Matthew is a very smart high functioning child. Can someone please help us or give us any suggestions? Many thanks!

I have 2 boys both diagnosed and both will 'pee' in the toilet (some accidents still), one will use a pull up only and one holds it until he cannot any longer and then has an accident on the floor - any suggestions?
It's not fun but now I know it's not something I did - there are others who are struggling
There is a video out there called 'once upon a potty' - it has a boy and a girl version - my kids love it but now they watch it like a video and sing the song!
