Hi Everyone. I am currently in school to recieve my diploma as an Educational Assisstant. One of my assisgnments is to join an online group of a specific disability and report my experiance. I was hoping if you parents wouldnt mind sharing with me some of your experiances, obstacles or support groups that you have day to day having a child with Autism. I might one day be working with a child with Autsim and having your feedback not only will help with my school assignment but also help me understand and have more knowlege for my future of what is Austism in the eyes of a parent/child and not just a text book definition. Thank you so very much :)

Hi my name is Robyn I have a 4 year old autistic son, feel free to email me with any questions about daily life with an autistic child I think its great that you want to know what home life is like to help how you will deal with your job! I think if professionals would step out of the book maybe we could achieve more answers in helping our special children .

Hi Sunday,

I have been writing about my experiences with my autistic son at http://raisingsucautistic.blogspot.com/ .

It's my own blog. I also give suggestions. Go to my site, read it and tell me what you think. Good luck on obtaining your degree.

I have posted an article on controlling temper tantrums (anger outbursts). You can read it at http://www.associatedcontent.com/

g_anger_outbursts.html?cat=25

It
gives tips and suggestions to parents (like myself) who have children on the spectrum. Read it and tell me what you think.
