My son Jared is about to turn 6, he has Autism and he loves being outside, I am looking at special needs strollers and am comfused as to how there can be such a difference in price across the board. Can anyone with one of these strollers tell me about their experience and tell me what the best strollers are out there? THANKS FOR ANY HELP!! God Bless!!

Hi Tom, I noticed that no one had responded. Honestly, I do not know that there are special needs stroller. How are they different from a regular stroller? Sorry for the ignorance.

I have a 5 year old son with autism and have been searching for an affodable jogger type stroller that will work for this 4 foot 60 lb child. It must have a canopy---makes him feel secure...anyone have any luck finding one for their growing child with autism?

Hello Itl and eustacia, OK, I went to ebay believe it or not, and I did a search for "Special Needs Stroller" the Axiom seems to be the best, but they sell for over $1000 new...That surely isn't cheap when you're paying for therapy!! I found a place in New York that had a chart to fill out and everything and they tell you what to get. I'm not sure if I can give their name here.
