Hello, my name is Florida. My son Peter is 3yrs 10 mths., also my nephew is 3 yrs 2 mths and they were both diagnosed with autism. My nephew has a severe case of autism where my son has a milder case. the doctors started both on respiradol and it has done wonders for both. my son is now starting to talk but can't pronounce the full word but my nephew is not speaking yet. I agree with the mom that said the shots are responsible because what are the odds of both my son and my nephew both born the same year both being diagnosed with autism. We don't have this in our family on either of the four sides.

I am going to stop giving both of them milk, anything with red dye, anything with wheat, and gluten. The actress came on Oprah said she stopped giving her son the above items and within three weeks, her son started to speak.

hi my name is Kara and i have a three year old named asia. he has Asperger's syndrome. he is a very high fuctioning autistic child. He did everything before the average child. being smart and able to do things for himself isnt always a good thing. he has done dangerous things in his short life the biggest was when he climbed up to the closet took out his sleeping pills and took 19 of them. he almost died. at times i wish that he was like other children but i know that this child was givinn to me to teach me about life. because of him my life is better. i dont know where i would be if it wasnt for him.

People ,please stop and think about when did you notice that your kids were different than other kids.when did you notice that they weren't talking, responding to you when their name was called. I bet you anything it was not long after they got a certain immunization shot. As I said before ,My son and nephew both were diagnosed with autism and they were born in 2004 , they are only six mths apart. WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF BOTH MY SON AND NEPHEW BOTH HAVING AUTISM. None of the families on either side have any mental or pphysical disorders.

I would also like to state that I have five children altogether. The three older ones were walking and talking at 7 to 9 mths. My oldest boy is 15 ,second girl is 13, third girl is 10, the autistic one is almost four ,and the last one is a year and a half. My older 3 are straight A students and all have a 4.0 average, and have been absent maybe 3 times since they started preschool. So this is why I am shocked that Simba , (nickname, )has autism. I feel that it is up to us, the parents to put our minds together to find out what the cause is and what the cure is . If possible I would like to know what do your kids like, What appeals to your children, what they like to eat. to play with, what don't they like ,and so on. I have an attorney who will be bringing on a lawsuit to the conpanies who make the immunization shots.

I would like to know about what your children like and dislike as far as eating habits, playing, what they like to play with, what they like to watch, what games do they like to play, are they jelous from any attention that is given to other siblings and so on. Maybe our children have things in common. Please think back to when you noticed that your child was different than other children, I bet it would ring a bell if it was right after an immunization shot , right.

I promised myself that I will keep on trying to pinpoint what caused both my boys to have autism, my nephew and my son. I wom't rest till I find a way to break down that wall that they have built around themselves. I hope that the parents with similar situations can give me the info I am asking about as far as the chidrens' likes and dislikes. please it would maybe make a difference in our kids lives. I am not a doctor of any sort, but we are parents, and it is our obligation as parents to do everything we can to protect our children and exhaust every means possible to try to find a way to bring our kids back to our world rather than stay in the world that they are in. Thank YOU ALL FOR ANY HELP THAT YOU MAY PROVID ME WITH.

scringle , don't let yourself become lonely because you will fall into depression as I did and you can't have that happen .It's not easy to get out of depression. You must be strong for you child. I am not a religious person but have found comfort turning to the greatest power in the universe, God! Once again, I am not a very religious person but GOD will give you the strenght to go on.

Scringle, You must believe that everything happens for a reason , it is up to you to find out wahty that reason is. Have faith and ask for guidance and you will surprise yourself . Once again you must be strong. Anything you want to talk about Please contact me at [email protected]

faye93 how are you. If you as well would like to talk , please feel free to contact me . How is your child doing. It must be hard having to deal with a teenager who has autism. My two are driving me nuts but I deal with it day by day. I just finished potty training simba ,it took all summer but finally finished, it was worth the trouble. I found that it took me being more stubborn than him and that is what iI do now I AM MORE STUBBORN THAN HIM ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT HE OR I WANT.
