My son was recently diagnosed with Autism. I've been reading that high doses of vitamin B6 and magnesium has been shown to be helpful. Has anyone tried the vitamin supplements? if so, what is the dose that you've been giving?

Hello gongju7, I have not tried a very extensive vit treatment yet as m y son was just "Offically" diagnoses with ASD. We have though been giving him goji juice which is packed with Vit B's and there has been some, mind you lttle, but some improvment. I will be trying More Vit treatments in the future. Look up BrainChild, they have a line just for ASD children. All though I have talked to his Development doctor as well abotu this before I started. She says as long as he stays healthy she says it's O.K. Check this Yahoo Health Site out. The people on there Know more about it then Any computer could ever store. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AutismNCD/
You will have to sign up for it but you'll learn quite a bit about what works well and what to expect. Hope this helps.
