I am 33 1/2 weeks pregnant with my 2nd son and I want to try breastfeeding..my 1st son I didn't even try breastfeeding and I don't remember why but I want to this time...anyway my ? is, is there any pointers on the whole thing? I mean like is a manual better than electric? or what I need to buy other than the pump and bottles, like creams and pads? How long do you feed on each side? If anyone can answer these ?'s I would be soo grateful...I have a journal on here lil_mama_x2 THANKS

Ask your OB if there's a class or lactation consultant in your area. That's how I got started. You'll need the support so might as well line 'em up now. And get a book. Amazon will probably guide you to the best ones.

I liked my cross over elastic maternity bra rather than the snap kind. Definitely buy some lanisoe cream for your nipples. I bought the pads but then didn't need them.

Manual pumps are a waste of money. If you are returning to work, get an electric one--the best you can afford.
