I've done an internet search and there are quite a few sites out there that sell breastfeeding slings. These slings support the baby and keep it close into the body enabling hands free breastfeeding.

No more being stuck in one place and unable to get on with other things simply because baby needs a feed.

These might be a good idea. I didn't know about them when I was feeding. I used to get so frustrated at being stuck on the couch feeding for hours on end.

What does everybody think?

The styles seem to vary. You'll still be able to see the baby though. Some of them appear to cover the boobs okay. I think they're a great idea. I wish I'd known about them when I had my last son.

The Maya Wrap are suppose to be A#1!! My little guy hated being wraped up in anything so it was not an option but I tried! Everyone says that these allow you to do so much.

Hi,

I am currently pregnant with my first but my girlfriend swears by www.hotslings.com. I have used it with her babies...and it is great for BFing (I have not tried that yet ;p )

I am planning to get one for sure because I don't want to be able to be flexible.

Has anyone used the Peanut Shell? That's what I have, and it's really comfortable to wear, but I think my baby is too small for it. She's only 6 lbs. 6 oz and she seems to get swallowed up in the sling. I don't know if I'm using it wrong or if it will fit better when she fills out a little more. But I got it so I could wear her during the day while I chase after my 12 month old daughter! I do plan to use it to nurse in public cause my older daughter likes to take the blanket off of baby while she's nursing!
