H. I am not sure ifI am pregnant or not (I hope not...) but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the breasts feel about the first week to two weeks of pregnancy.

My breasts have been sore for about a week and a half now. (Well, not exactly the breasts... the area underneath the breasts where it is attached and then the outer curve (starts slightly below the arm pit and then moves on in)) The nipples do not hurt at all....

So, does this sound like pregnancy pains?

It really just depends, different people are affected differently. I would get a pregnancy test to make sure. Good Luck.

My first pregnancy my breasts ached right away and did for the first month or so. I am now 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and am experiencing the same thing. Every woman is different but the majority of woman I talk to all say that the nipples ache and tinkle. I hope this helps and yes the best thing is to go to your DR and find out for sure.

I started thinking I might be pregnant when I noticed the changes of my breasts. That really hurts! Especially on both sides. Areola were swollen as well. I had to check with my mom if that was one of the signs and she said yes. Then I had a home preg test and it turned out positive. Had a sched with my OB after 2 days and she confirmed I was 5 weeks expecting at that very moment.

I'm pretty sure you've already found out your answer, but thought I'd add my 2 cents. Some women may have harsh menstrual cycles which come with swollen and tender breasts. Hope things turned out ok.
