Name: Jackie S [ Original Post ] My daughter is at risk of having Down Syndrom. VERY VERY slight risk, but nonetheless I would like some information on this :) Was wondering if you can still bf a down syndrome child and if you can birth vaginally or if she will have to be born via c-section. I don't think that you have to have a c-section with a Downs Syndrome child. They're no different from any other baby when it comes to being born. Before they could ultrasound, Downs babies were born naturally. ↑

You should be able to breastfeed...unless they have problems attaching or sucking then can pump & feed...is your best!!! food for your little one!!! ↑
