Is anyone diabetic, has a premature baby with eating issues? Not able to stay awake long enough to make it through an entire feed.

Did you just have your precious one? Because what you describe is very normal in a new one. Here is an article that should help you with some hints on how to keep baby awake during feedings.

always liked to tickle baby's cheek to stimulate the sucking reflex the minute I noticed him start to nod off. Hang in there! Everything will get better with time. You are doing a great job!
