Well I'm still currently nursing my first, a 15 month old girl, however, I'm six weeks pregnant with my second, so I'm going to have to wean her in the next few months to come. Which makes me very sad, b/c she enjoys nursing so much and I don't want to take it away from her, but, I can't be nursing two when the new baby is born and I want her to forget about it before then. Also she'll be 23 months old when the baby is born and I don't really want to nurse her past the age of two. I think after two is getting a little old, just IMO. But, I always though over one was too old until I did it, so to each there own! I'm going to miss nursing her though... :( ↑
I was told to quit breastfeeding before your second trimester, cause it causes uterine contractions, therefore, can result in early labor. ↑
Many things cause uterine contractions cjsims. Including regular sex. Breastfeeding during pregnancy is perfectly fine as long as it is a normal low risk pregnancy with no history of problems, like m/c or preterm delivery. In my case, I haven't had any of these problems, (knock wood!) just one healthy, full term plus one day pregnancy. Thanks for the concern though. ↑
