I am currently 35 weeks pregnant with my first child and cannot BELIEVE the amount of clostrum that recently started coming from my breasts. Is this normal? My doc claims that I might have an unusual amount of milk once my baby is born but really I just want to see if anyone can relate to this? I have a month to go and wake up with large wet spots every night.

now be prepared to hear this ALOT through out your childs life: every woman is different. also when you child is born you will hear all the time: every child is different. i have heard of women that have colustrum leaking in their 2nd trimester. i would just suggest wearing breastbads to bed. then you won't have to clean up as much.

i had the same thing and when my milk came in my boobs filled up- they were like rocks and they were so painfull and my baby couldnt get attached properly, in the end i had to drain them out with a pump and put ice packs on them for about 2-3 days. i suggest when you start feeling your milk coming in put ice packs on them because it will stop them swelling and becoming inflamed like mine did.
