I am new to this chat site but I am hoping someone here can help or point me in the right direction. My daughter was born 2/10 and I have been exclusively breastfeeding. I am back at the office and I am afraid that my milk supply isn't increasing during the day like she needs it to. My babysitter says she will drink 6 oz easily at a feeding but when I pump at the time she is eating I am only get 4-5 oz. How many oz does an average baby eat at 3 months? How do I increase my milk supply during my pumping times?

Please help. I am getting very stressed about this.

Thanks

I have bumped up the thread Where oh where has my milk gone?? In the thread there are some sites and info that may help.
Way to go for continuing to breastfeed / pump it is very noble of you. I know it can be so hard to add that on top of your day. What an amazing mama!

I've heard babies need approx. 2oz on top of the # of months they are. Exp. 3 month old- 3 + 2 = 5oz. But sometimes around that age my daughter would eat up to 7 oz when I pumped for her. Now she's 8 months and only will take around 5oz if I pump, but she's eating food now too.
