I'm 33 weeks pregnant and I've started leaking colostrum. I know some people leak, but will it get worse if I squeeze the milk out? I usually squeeze my nipples to try to rough them up to get ready for breastfeeding, and the colostrum started during that. Should I stop?

I'm a Lactation Specialist & work in a 'Lactation Station' store in a hospital. There's no need to 'toughen up' your nipples. Every bit of literature that I've read & instruction that the Lactation Consultant has given. I'd stop.
