Hey everyone, it's me again asking mroe questions :)

Jus wondering if you ladies bought nursing bras right before your delivery or after? I dont want to buy some now and then have them be too big/small. How did you go about the whole ordeal.. My breasts are growing, slowly, but they will probably stay around a C cup, im usually a B.

Thanks.

I did buy nursing bras right before I was due, but you will wear a different size after the baby is born, at least I did. Before I was pregnant I was a size 36D, then went to a 42E, and now it's a month later (after baby was born) and I wear a 38F. You're so lucky on your size, mine's hard to find, plus I hate having big breast, well good luck and hope I helped a little.

Marcella- I would wait. Before I had my girls I bought nursing bras that almost looked like training bras and then I would just move it up when I nursed, plus they were awsome at night. After my milk came in i went to bed one night with nothing but a tee shirt and my husband woke me up freaking out, cause i had started leaking really bad and some of it got on him when i rolled over to cuddle,. I got mine at walmart i think, and after a month or so when your milk is really coming go and spend some money on one the snaps or hooks. Don't forget nursing pads. I really like the lansinol (sp) they have a sticky backing that sticks to your bra so it won't move around. Good Luck!!

I'll wait after I grow/have the baby just to make sure. Thanks for everyone's input,It's great to know what's comfortale and essential for feeding.

momof3: oh my gosh! I hope I dont leak at night lol. I'ma heavy sleeper so maybe I will lol

speaking of the nursing bras with the snaps or hooks....
buy the snaps! those are so much better and easier! plus I always have to remind myself to be extra careful at night when I'm wearing the bra with the hooks cause I'm freaked out that it might get caught in my baby's eye if I'm not careful.....I just weird like that, lol

Once your milk comes in I am sure you will. Especially the first night your baby sleeps through the night. Be prepared, because breastfed babies usually eat every 2 hours, so when your darling comes, take everyones advice and nap when she does. I didn't I tried to keep up on house work, and was exshausted. Don't care what your house looks like, just sleep.

Ha, my baby is 6 weeks old and I still WAKE her up during the night! I know I'm crazy, but my breast would explode anyways if I didn't feed her or pump and she's much faster, lol. Plus I don't like leaving her diaper on that long without changing her. I did sleep though for the first time 5 1/2 hours straight the other night before waking her, and then she did 6 1/2 last night. BUt yes SLEEP when they sleep! Best advice ever!

Farah- when you change her diaper before bed, slather her butt with vaseline, I did this with both girls and they both have had only one diaper rash. The vaseline creates a barrier so her urine won't irrate her skin. What if when you wake up you just pump instead of waking her, you want her to sleep through the night, if you keep waking her as she gets older she will expect it and not sleep through the night, I finally had to sleep train my 11 month when she was 8 months old, because if she even woke up the slightest I would feed her and my doc, told me the above,

I would highly advice a pump. If you don't have one you will not be able to leave the baby with anyone, unless your going to supplement with formula. I had an electric one from wal-mart that I LOVED. Good Luck!
