So i completly stoped all the bleeding I had after I had my son this past week the 20th of april, my son was born on March 17th , so about a month. I am currently breastfeeding , and was just curious about mensturual cycles and when they happened to start again , I'm not to worried about birth control because my husband is currently deployed for a year but I would like an IUD placed and last time i spoke to the doctor before i got pregnant he said they liked to place those during a period ? i also heard you can't get back on the pill while your breastfeeding ? ↓

You can get back on the pill during breastfeeding but it is a differnt kind. It's called low dose (I do believe). Re the period I did not get mine until DS was around 14 months, when he self weaned but that is one thing that is completely personal. I have heard of breastfeeding women getting theirs immediately and anywhere up until weaning. So unfortunately their is no set answer. Remember that you CAN get prego while breastfeeding! ↑

I too had stopped all bleading, but today I felt a little crampy and I am spotting a bit. Is it really possible to have a period when Connor is only 9 weeks old?? ↑
