I am 5 months pregnant with my second baby. I had a horrible cold and i took Tylenol PM only twice that was like a month ago. Then i had a bad toothache and the Dentist said i had decay to the nerve He did not recommend pulling it out while i was Pg but instead he said a root canal would be the only solution due to less chance of infection. Well, ofcourse i had to have Xrays (with a lead Jacket on) He said the numbing meds would not harm the baby. Thank God i,m in no pain now but i still need a crown placed. My problem is i keep looking back and im so worried about the Tylenol i took which contains benadry ( i hear it can cause cleft lip and cleft palate in baby),i,m also worried about the xrays although Dentist said its very small dose of radiation and i,m worried about the numbing meds. has somebody had any Dental experience as such and can somebody please tell me if any of this gonna harm my baby. I had no choice because i could not sleep due to pain and i feared the infection. Help! ↓
