I remember with mine if I gave her a bottle it was always around 2-4 oz at a time, but your baby will know when she's had enough. if you have to feed her from a bottle i would give her 2 oz at a time until she's satisfied...or you could feed her a 2 or 4 oz bottle and if she's still hungry give her your breast and let her feed until she's full. babies are way more efficient than a pump, so think....if you can pump like 4 oz at a time, she's probably getting way more than that when she feeds from you!! :-) ↑ |

With my son I couldn't breastfeed cuz he was in the nicu..so i pumped and I pumped 8 oz...every 1/12 - 2 hours...i think i overdid it..i was a cow..but then again..i was so excited i got so much milk that i kept pumping so much and made more and more...that i had to pump it...supply and demand...now i know not to try so much ↑ |

go to http://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/milkcalc.html and go to the milk calculator. it will ask the average amout of feedings you give a day and then will tell you roughly how many ounces they need in a bottle. ↑ |

Thanks for all the advice girls! That website was very helpful. I found out that the norm is to only get an ounce or two per pumping session. I thought it was just me. And that my daughter should only be getting 2-4oz per feeding of expressed milk. Thanks ↑ |
