When I had my 4 years old I had to pump becasue he was on a ventilator for weeks...so he never learned to suck right...I feel like i produced so much milk..the hospital even said i was overcrowding theire fridge...I had to pump out at least 8 oz. every 2 hours...if i didn't i soaked myself....Did anyone have this happen..and also is it possible that i caused this myself by pumping so much in the first place...

milk works on a supply and demand system so if you pumped too much then your body was making extra to keep up. Hopefully your baby will do the regulating this time and it will be easier

i have an old wives remedy on how to slow down the milk, if you have over done it, mothers use it when theyre weaning
...cabbage leaves over your breasts in your bra...i tried them they made me feel like i had padding but they did make them feel better, dont know whether it helped stop the flow??
