I have a wisdom tooth that is cracked and the root is exposed. Im afraid to take any tylenol, or advil, and Im only 4 weeks so I don't have a doctor yet. My doctor is 500 miles away. I just moved here 3 months ago. Is tylenol or advil safe to take?

Tylenol is considered safe. If you find an ob-they may prescribe Tylenol with codeine for pain. (believe it or not-codeine is also considered safe in pregnancy-in small, necessary doses)

My doctor gave me freaking Percacet and ibuprofin 600 mg. when I left the hospital and she knew I was breast feeding.

I asked my doctor the same question just two days ago, and she said tylenol is fine.
Just stay away from ibuprofin & aspirin.
