My baby is due at the beginning of March, and after it's born I'm going to have to go back to work, which will probably mean working nights somewhere so my husband can watch it. The problem is, I want to breastfeed, so how can I fit working around this?

if you are going to go back to work full time then i suggest either renting a hospital grade pump from the hospital or buying one. depending on how long you are going to use it, it might be cheaper in the long run to buy one. depending on what state u live in, there are laws that support breastfeeding and working. here in illinois your employer is required to give you breaks so you can pump and provide a private area that is not the restroom. hope some of this helps. also a very good site to go to is www.breastfeeding.com the ladies there are awesome and the replies are very quick.

I use a Medela Pump in Style. It has a slider for suction, so if you're having a sore nipple day, you can turn it down so that it barely sucks. It does however do the job, just takes longer. I absolutely LOVE it! Hospitals tend to use this for their rentals, so check it out! Good luck!

melissa is right. and also, when you are with your son, let him nurse as much as possible. he will help your flow.
i went to a closet when i worked and pumped every two hours, but you have to stick to it. it can really mess you up if you start skipping. it did me at least. it's worth a try with a good pump hon!!
