i nursed my little one after mine were pierced. i did fine. i just took them out and kept them washed in the shower. not scrubbing them or nothing. and the milk shouldnt just pour out contantly really. maybe ours were pierced in different places. but i was about as far as you when i took them out. they had healled up when baby came out. if you have any further questions please feel free to ask!!! im always around! ↑
oh god...the visual on this....3 streams of milk squirting in three different directions ↑
I was just going to post something about this - long ago I had my nipples pierced deep, and they were so painful I never really healed right so I eventually took them out and told hubby, sorry, but I just can't do this. Anyway - now they are all healed up but I was worried, will the scar tissue impair the milk flow, or even block the ducts? I had no trouble BF my daughter 8 years ago, but that was before piercing. Aggg... this pregnancy wasn't planned - I feel so stupid about putting holes in my body! lol ↑
its weird that they leaked from the piercing. when womens nipples are pierced they unlike mens obviously avoid the milk duct. I dont think the scar tissue should prevent the flow, and unless your nipples were pierced incorrectly it shouldnt be reason as to why ur milk is not coming through correctly. but I was only a piercing apprentice for about a year, but ive never heard of women having trouble with breast feeding due to piercing unless it somehow nicked or pierced through the milk duct . if any of that makes sense. sorry. ↑
had one peirced.....I took it out before having my son.....never leaked and I had no trouble breastfeeding......good luck ↑
