Hey well i do this and my daughter is 3 weeks, you just have to lay down with your head on a pillow and you arm up, like under the pillow. i dont know if this makes any sense, but it really does work. you can do it at any age i dont think that matters, i hope this helps.

thanx...man, is it not hard for you though? my little one seems to struggle when i do this??

no i dont hold anything, but she has to be comfy too, make sure your baby is on his side facing you, and tilt his head up so that he isnt suffocating in your boobs, and let him have at it. i think probably for some people its trial and error. when was your baby born? My little girl was born on Feb 10. just wondering.

I know how you feel . I am a big chested person and the only position I could feed my son, was the football hold. Everyone else seems so relaxed cradaling their baby, not me I had to sit up and constantly support him. I think your shape has a lot to do with how easy it is to lay down and feed. But, as he gets older he will be able to feed easier and this should become a more easier task.

I was just going to suggest the football hold, lol, but I see Kim beat me to it.

How is it going Heather? Have you tried setting baby up on a pillow to help bring him closer to you?

I used to always have to hold my breast back away from my nipple when my Little One was small, because it would cover her nose and block her breathing, but that was all the time.

Just move around a lot and find a position that works. The nice thing is, is that these Little One's continue to grow, so many problems disappear with time.
