After i had my son i dad this bright stupid idea that i was going to go on a diet after having him. But i was not eating healthy. And i am know but could it have affected it my milk supply?

it could have...it takes more calories to breast feed and to keep up with the supply. you could try nursing more frequently for a little while and that could increase your supply but I would discuss it with your dr as well. I thought that my supply was deminishing but with the extra feedings for a week or so it seemed to help...anyways....just some advice. good luck!

Have you tried fenugreek, pumping in between feedings or lacation tea? There are several things you can do to increase your supply, don't give up and whatever you do don't offer formula supplements if you wish to continue breastfeeding because they will definitily affexct your supply.
Your right you shouldn't diet while breastfeeding, try to cut out sweets and exercise more while maintaning a healthy diet.

Hey I just bought that tea! It's called Mother's milk. Haven't tried it yet but I'm gonna. I don't have a problem with my milk supply (all though pumping can be hard with a 4 week old baby so I do hope that it makes that easier.....if I start leaking more then it should) I bought it cause the ingredients were almost the same as another tea (that I couldn't find in stores) that said that it helped with digestion for mother and baby, but If I see any changes I'll let ya know!

Increasing your supply takes time and not pumping much is no indication of how much milk you have or your baby is getting, don't give up and keep in touch.

also nursing is more effencient then pumping...but doing bothis fine too like inbetween feedings try pumping...I know it's tiresome and frustrating but it will smooth out...just give it a few weeks really...good luck!
