When I was breastfeeding it made me feel closer to my baby. I can't answer for him because he can't tell me and he probably can't remember anyway :-(

To me it was an extension of pregnancy- I nourished them for nine months inside me- it felt natural and right to continue to provide their nourishment after. For them it was comfort and love and full tummys. Ds calls it nanas and is in love with his boobies

Breastfeeding is the best thing(besides carrying my son) that i have ever done. it feels so rewarding to know that my son is growing big and fat because of me. He is healthier and happier too. Hardly any gas, spit up and less stincky poop. At least until he starts food. i highly reccomend breastfeeding it is the best thing you can do for your child and yourself. on thing that i didn't know about breastfeeding until i started is that i delays your peroid. its great you don't have to worry about one for at least five months!!!

I have more patience with my toddler. I guess there is a hormone that is produced that does this when they bf.
When my toddler was almost a year, I started to give him formula because that is what people were telling me to do, they told me it was time to wean, but it felt wrong, it felt wrong wrong wrong!
Holding him with a bottle, he didn't like it and I didnt' either. so I stopped, I don't care what anyone else says.
Now it's so funny when he bf and plays with his toy truck on my breast, lol.
Dana he calls them 'numnums'. lol
