Hello, I spit from my ex 2yrs ago, and have 2 children, he has total access anytime he wishes and had to actually push for him to see the kids when he walked out. But recently i have met a new partner, who split from his wife and they have a 1yr old son. She wont allow my partner to see his son??? He is so upset that he cannot see him. Does anyone know what legal rights he has to have access, say, every other weekend?? I am told that it could mean he would have to wait until his son is about 3yrs old before he can have him for a weekend, but surely a father wanting to see thier son should have rights??? Even when the child is quite young anyway.
He is missing the first moments, and will never get those back!!! His ex doesn't know about me yet, but i am sure as soon as she does she will definately make things worse for him!! Thing is, she walked out on him??? And i'm kinda getting the feeling, she used him to have a baby, get her way and leave him. He is a lovely, lovely man, maybe abit too soft, but that just makes him more special. He just wants to have equal time with his son.
Thank you for any advice please.

You Know thier is alot of women that get away with murder. His ex is controlling sounding. Read in to his legal rights make sure you guys do what is right. He can go for visitation rights and he'll probley get them. Do't sink to her level. When you have been together for atlleast 2 years. Dad has to step up. I know a dad that got sole custody of his daughter. The mother was shocked. She has to deal with it. This country is changing. You seem like you will be a great help. No sneeknig around.
