My husband and I have been married for almost 21 years. We no longer have anything in common. Neither one of us are happy, but we can't seem to let go. I'm pretty sure our marriage is over but I have never worked in my life and getting a divorce scares me to death. What should I do?

I am indeed sorry women, but lets be candid here. Are you all sure that some of you all are not indeed guilty of cheating? After all, men don’t just act like that out of the blue; something has to trigger such reactions. As woman I am not advocating that men should abuse, assaulted or even cheat on their wives and/or partner. However, having said that, as a woman I know that there are some terrible out here who have very good men but cause them to turn bad because of these women actions.

Some of us women and (its sadly is in majority) tends to cheat and do it dangerously as that. These days marriage union means nothing anymore as society has condone the evil of cheating, etc., and even in the Churches is has become prevalent. Women divorce their husband to be with ex and so-called first night stand. Some are married for years with children and some of the children they know are not their husband child but they falsely give him the child. The bottom line is some women and many at that, are making other good women look bad in the sight of men today.

By the way divorce is not the answer – there are too many of that as we speak. Get right with God is the answer!

Most of the postings are from women who sound like they have been wronged. Probably they have. I am a 47 yr. old man who has a wife who has very deep-seated mental health issues. She has been in therapy and on anti-depressants for 5 years. The children have grown up without a 100% mom. It's been hell. I'm still fit and young looking and am an active athlete. I finally got up the courage to walk out the door. I've worked so hard and long on trying to be a good husband that leaving was never a concept until I started looking at my friends' relationships and discovered that most of them are very happy with their wives. I began to think "gee, is this my life? Am I going to suffer with her mental illness forever?" I finally got up the nerve to leave. It was very hard. So far it has been 10 days, and I feel resolute that I will not go back to my wife unless there are serious changes, including a change in psychologist. So, is it right to say enough is enough..I'm entitled to find happiness too. Aren't I?

Jennifer, you make women look bad. Listen, have U ever heard of this: Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wise, and they shall be one flesh? Sadly, that also means women as well shall leave her mother and father. Also, whatabout submitting yourself one to another? Wives, submit yourself unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. Does that mean cheating with other men while married Jennifer? How can U be in loved with another man and married to one? U are hurting the poor man where is your morals? BTW, U ask what should U do....well, what about telling your husband that you have been cheating with another man? Also, if U need advice in breaking up marriages perhaps U should consider contacting an expert in that area Mr. Julien Henley at St. Thomas Gallery [Main St.], 5195 Dronningens Gade Ste. #2

I dont know why a man should divource his wife, A responsible man should know how to treat his wife to avoid misunderstanding. if i get marry i dont think that will happen and i pray God should give me a good wife..

tjelegant, way to go but for the most part you do not have any control when these women want to do what they want (i.e., cheating). Would you remain in a marriage where your wife is constantly cheating with other men and in particularly her ex who resides on St. Thomas, USVI? This woman and this guy Julien deserved each other they are both immoral and she has her turn coming - because what goes around comes back plentiful. What a "B".

been there done that and getting ready to do it again. have 4 kids and the kids are much better off with a happy family than an unhappy family where the parents don"t get along. if your thinking about your child think about a happy family & if he is anykind of a FATHER he will be there for his kid and get along with you for that reason!getting ready to go through it again and adopted her son and he is MY SON and will always think that way!! splitting while we are getting along and being civil for him!

All the chat lines are for married people who want to act ridiculous . Does anyone want another woman just to talk to about what is going on in your horrible life & U don't know what to do?
