Am right with you girl. I've been in this situation for 10 years and just love to bump into my man out socially, we're good friends and enjoy a laugh together. For the sake of both our families and children we never took it anywhere (at all), although neither of our marriages are happy - but we love our children. In another 10 years (when we are both 50!!!) our kids should be gone but God knows what would happen then. I have met other people in the same situation and usually the fantasy is much nicer than the reality, as many will testify. It's a hard one this, could you really live with yourself if you hurt kids? And if the sh*t hit the fan, would you be prepared to accept the blame for leading him astray? He is a man after all and (according to him at a later date) it would have all been your fault! Anyway, you can't force your kids to like him if you hurt their dad.

If you are not happy wht don't you tlk with you husband usually the other partner is not happy either. Try everything you can then try some more.Once you feel you have do all you can to keep the family together then if you are still not happy end the relationship with you spouse. When you took on the responsibility of being a step mother they are partly your kidsSo if you really do not want to break up the faily work on it and stop seeing this guy at all. Way too tempting.
