my ex and i have a 7 year old, we got divorced in 2008 i was working fulltime and my immature childish woman beater ex husband was working seasonal jobs roofing, getting paid under the table. during the time of filing the papers he claimed "not working" which led me to paying child support. he didnt have proof of income. we have split custody, one week with me and one week with him. its equal on paper but in reality i have him atleast 2 months more out of the year, my son would rather be with me than him and he comes over on some nights he is with his dad and stays with me. my ex now has a legit job making twice as much as i was. i am not working now and havent since november 2011 i havent paid him a dime since the divorce was final. although, my divorce papers state that i am to claim my son every year and last year he claimed him without telling me until i went to file my taxes and it through up a red flag. i let him keep that money so that it technically takes care of my child support im suppose to pay every month. i am going to take him to child support court and try to have everything flipped now that he is working but can he get me for not paying child support? it wasnt set up to go through the state, it was set up to be paid directly to him whichever payment method was conveniant ( which would have been just cash). can i get by with saying neither one of us kept reciepts and judge dismissing as "hearsay" and from here on out require reciepts or am i just screwed?? i need all the help i can get! ↓
