i love my fiancee to bits dont get me wrong i do but his ex drives me compleatly and utterly up the wall! she came to the door 3days after i moved in with him and started telling me off like my mother and very nearly slapped me, if lee hadent interviend she would have. lee was seeing his daughter 5 times a week and she stayed the weekend, he saw her more than shelley on the condision he gave her whatever she wanted when she wanted and now ive put a stop to that she's using me as an excuse to stop all access. not to mention she had 'post-natal depression' after cj was born but still managed to go out with her mates on the p*ss. she treated lee like sh*t and she drives me crazy! she pushed him down the stairs IN FRONT OF CJ and threw the whole crockery set on top of him and the only reason she was pissed was because lee refused to replace them. and she gets custody of this little girl. shes had hardly anything to do with this little girls upbringing, she treats us like dirt, she could possibly be an acaholic the amount she drinks and she actually gets access to this child! wheres the law in that. she violent, agressive, and minipulative and theres absoloutly no way to prove it. courtney shouldnt be with her at all she should be with her dad. she wants to be with her dad.
has anybody got any suggestions of how we can prove this or any tips for the fathers side in court?... we'd be very grateful

Well, try keeping a journal in a calendar book and write down everything this woman does to you, your fiance and the children. If you think this woman drinks, does she get behind the wheel while driving the kids. If she's violent are the kids old enough to call 911 on her? With the way the laws are today, smacking a child around is a big no no. Reporting her to the Department of Child and Family Services might help. Although, they will ask the child questions one on one with out the mother present to see exactly how the child feels about the situation. You have to create a paper trail, something that shows in black and white. When this woman is on her alcoholic binge, have Courtney sneak to use the phone to call 911. She shouldn't have to be subjected to this kind of behavior. It's not a healthy environment for her. Once the paper trail is established, chances are you can prove without a doubt that this woman is endangering the child. Also, keep the written journal because it's easier reference to when you go into court to recall specific details of dates and times that we can't always remember. I have keep one since I've divorce my ex 3 years ago and I have to use it to recall experiences that have happened. Hopefully this helps. I'm still fighting in court with my ex so it's seems to be an never ending battle until they turn 18. However, I may loose a few battles here and there but I plan on winning the war.

Make sure you tell Lee to write in the journal about the phone calls he makes to Courtney and gets no answer. He has the right to make reasonable phone calls to his daughter and to keep a relationship going. The cracker has no right keeping their daughter from communicating with Lee. She seems to be using Courtney as a pawn to get her way and hopefully a judge will reprimand her for that. Although, he has to show the proof that he is unable to see or talk with her. So, the journal/log is very important. Hang in there.

we have started writing one but as we werent keeping one origanally its kinda hard to detail it ya know but all the things that stick out we have put together as a presentation and evrytime hes had courtney-considering he was having her 4 days a week, now he can barly get one a month. in the last 6 months hes probally seen her 7times. all the while her mum is brainwashing courtney. and also it was a comprimise in mediation that lee could fone courtney at seven to say goodnight and it lasted about 3weeks if that and evrynight on 7 hed call, tell her he loved her and she'll always be his special girl and he will always have time and love for her even when she has a brother or sister-and shelley really seems to be enjoying this. honest to god if i wasnt 4 months pregnant id have had her by now just to get that look off her face. just because she has courtney she thinks shes so much better than evryone else... narsisest comes to mind lol... that somes her up compleatly! if anyone has any other ideas please share id be very, very grateful and thanx for the journal... we will do coz this woman has to be stopped courtney is a beautiful little girl and shes beinbg wasted and no child deserves that!

Wow, this is very sad to hear. I am sorry you have to deal with an ex that sounds so similar to the one I deal with. I had to do the same thing with my husbands ex because he was her little marrionette and when I cut the strings and proved to him that he could run his own life she was peaved. I think it is important to set your boundaries. It is important that you let her know that her behavior is not ok. Maybe police need to be involved. If it is violent and he has reports of this and you take that to court with you chances are on his side. If he goes to mediation it may help.
