I know exactly what you mean...before I got preggers I rarely dreamed anything I could remember and when I did they were all good dreams...now I dream almost everynight and even when they are not "scary" dreams they are just plain weird. Last night I dreamed that I went in for an U/S and they told me that they couldn't find anything, then my dream switched to me being in labor in November and having an adorable, healthy boy...I'm not due until Feb and in my dream I kept telling that to the doctor and they kept saying that they must have had the wrong due date....

From what I've read its just all these new hormones and emotions that make us dream stuff.

I too have been having some messed up dream lately. My first dream that I had about my currantly pregnancy was where I was in the hospital because I had a baby girl which obviously didn't make any sense to my in my dream because I kept saying that I was only 8 months pregnant. The doctor told me that this was my daughter and that I was still pregnant. Very odd.

The other night I had a really weird dream about my 2 year old. I'm still a little freaked out because I can vividly picture my son as if it was something that truely happened. In my dream I put my son in a pack-n-play, not sure if I did this because I was putting him down for a nap or what. The next thing I knew was I was watching some show on dogs. But then it wasn't a TV show but real life. From there I was in a hallway of a house that I had once lived in. I started walking towards one of the rooms because I felt tired and was going to go take a nap, but then I realized I lay my son down in a different room. So I walked to the other room (the other room was actually mine when I lived at this house), looked in at my son who was sleeping. So I slowly walked over to the bed that was beside the crib so that I could lay down. As I approached close I say that my son was slowly opening his eyes, so I thought that I would pick him up, carry him over to the bed and lay down with him. When I reached the pack and play and looked at my son he wasn't sleeping at all. All you say was the whites of his eyes. I am not sure if he was breathing or not. I woke up before finding out.

I've always had very vivid dreams, and I've always been able to remember them quite well, but lately they've been very odd. I too have had dreams that something was worng w/ my baby, I'm 19 weeks along by the way. Like I dreamed that I went in for my u/s and the baby didn't have a spine so the doctor wanted me to terminate the pg, 2 days later I found out I was having a little girl, spine and all:) I've also been dreaming that she's ugly. I know that sounds horrible, but I see her face, and she's just not cute. The worst is when I dreamed that I m/c; I got up and had to go to the restroom to check for blood and my fiance woke up and thought that I actually did m/c. I've heard that these dreams last up until delivery. Great, another 20 weeks of unrestful sleep.

I am pretty confident in saying that the dreams have nothing to do with the baby itself but with the changes are lives will be taking.
