Call your doc... Initial visit to confirm pregnancy, get vitamins, ask questions. Why are you worried?

Most dr.'s want you to make an appt. b/w 8-10 weeks...they normally don't want to see you before then

My first appointment was 10 weeks. They usually will do a pap smear, check you for STD's (it's routine, dont worry they dont think you're a whore lol), mine took bloodwork and did an ultrasound. Then there was also a long interview kind of talk with the doctor about family history etc.

My first visit was at 6 weeks because I have history of miscarriage. They did an ultrasound to make sure everything was getting started ok, and did the pap, and sent me for blood work to confirm the pregnancy. Normally doctors see you between 8-10 weeks.

With my son I was 10 weeks. With my daughter I had my first visit immediately but I had been ttc and was on fertility drugs.

i was 5 weeks and 3 days on my first visit, and i even got an ultrasound, it was a trans vaginal Ultrasound and all you could see was alittle spec, that was my baby!! lol and im 36 weeks now and hes not a spec any more!! :)

its important to get on your prenatal ASAP so don't wait, call the dr and set up an appt!

they will do like S2Bm said, a pap smear, and possibly take your blood for STD and such and give you a bag of goodies lol

My 1st visit was 3 months into my pregnancy.. because i didn't even know i was pregnant! lol.
i have never had to have a pap smear.. OR any internal exam the whole time i have been pregnant.. its weird cause in America and england they do.. but in new Zealand the only time you ever get an internal is when your in labor and they check to see how far Dilated you are.
my midwife takes my blood pressure.. listens to my babys heart.. feels my belly to see how far im measuring and if my babies growing right.. and thats it!

also i have had 2 blood tests.. and every 2 weeks my midwife checks my urine to make sure there is no protein..

yep yep, i switched drs at my third visit, and i had to re do all my blood work all over again, lol so in less than a year i have had 3 blood testes to check for STD lol
yup and so much fun, you have to pee in a cup every visit for protein in your urine and a few other things lol
