I had my daughter 2 1/2 weeks ago. My bleeding was completely normal, lasting just under 2 weeks and at the end was mostly spotting, but now it seems I'm having an increase in bleeding after no bleeding for a couple of days. It's not a lot - a pantiliner would last me the whole day,so more like spotting, but I had no spotting or bleeding for a few days before. Is that pretty typical? I don't remember with Sophie... ↓

| mine was never really heavy to begin with, i had it on and off for nearly 2.5 weeks, it went away for a week and then i got my period, and full effin force too. worse than my post pardum ↑ |

| It could still be post pardum bleeding or since you went a few days without bleeding, maybe it's your period. I'm not really sure, I bled heavily for a little over 4 weeks (and that was with a c-section). ↑ |

| mara I did that on and off for a few weeks. Same with my sister and friend who also had babies. I think for them it lasted about 6ish weeks. My dr did a "rinse" when he did the c-section so I always had jsut very light bleeding and spotting. ↑ |

| I had that a couple of times -- I bled for a few weeks, and then it tapered off for a couple days and started up again...all in all, mine lasted about 7 weeks before it quit completely ↑ |

| I stopped bleeding 9 days post partum. Then on day 11 I woke up soaked in blood. It kept coming in big gushes and my doctor sent me for an ultrasound. I had a blood clot... ↑ |

| ya good question, i'm not sure, i bleed heavy for like the first 2 weeks and now tis spotting, then it went away and then i had normal discharge for a day, and now I'm back to spotting, i kept thinking my period might be coming but i wasn't sure, and i am breast feeing only so I'm all confused. ↑ |
