Hey i'm also due in feb. I have had some white discharge as well. I have an appt. with my dr. next wednesday. Have you thought about seeing your dr? ↑ |
hey, i was wondering about the same thing...but mine doesnt hurt. things have changed in the discharge down there and its really creepy. mine always seems to dry up in little chunks when it is on my panie liner. i am also four months pregnant and this has never happened to me. i know that today is the first day i have seen this. yesterday the discharge was bery thick and it was ALOT. does anyone know why this is happening to us? ↑ |
i read in my book that it is totally normal to have increased vaginal discharge. it is usually white or yellow and fairly thick. it is called leukorrhea. it is caused by the increased blood flow to the skin and muscles around the vagina. if you have a vaginal infection, the discharge is yellow or green, foul smelling and causes irritation and itching around or inside vagina. infections during pregnancy are very common and require either a cream or antibiotic. hope this helps. ↑ |
how do you get yeast infections? ↑ |
yeast infections can be common during pregnancy. They may be caused by a hormonal imbalance. Also try wearing cotton underwear to avoid excess moisture which yeast thrives on. Try eating yogurt once a day with live active cultures to keep your yeast levels balanced. You can also use over the counter medications such as monistat 7. While pregnant you can't take the oral meds. Only the ones inserted into the vagina. ↑ |
i had a nurse once tell me that people can drink cranberry juice to get rid of them too. She works with the elderly. ↑ |
i was always told that cranberry juice was for bladder and kidney infections, not yeast infections. ↑ |
the discharge is quite normal. During this time in your pregnancy (I'm due in Februaru, as well), you should be experiencing more dishcarge than usual. As long as it is white or clear, without any blood or pain, you are fine. There is even sometimes an odor which is typical, as well. ↑ |
but sometimes when your having sex during this month..month # 4...do ya'll find it harder for your man to penetrate? and does it seem like its thicker to you guys and not moist "wet" like it used to get? anyone have any idea if it gets worse after this month? ↑ |
I am due any minute now,but I myself have the same discharge, however mine has never hurted or irritated me.I also read that it is completly normal for this to happen. So just buy some panty liners, they come in handy and are alot of help. ↑ |
