I'm at work so i can access myspace or i would send you a message.

I gave Christian some Avacado last night. He took to it VERY well. He's four months today. I didn't give him all of it. Just about 7-10 semi-spoonfull.

Here's my question: Should i go down on the ounces of formula i give him because he's eating now?

Yesterday i gave hhim some food then right after gave him a bottle. Should i wait inbetween food feedings and formula feedings?

Also when i was mashing the Avacado(with a fork) there were stilll small lumps in it, am i not mashing well enough?

LOL i let tyler try some yesterday too! i was at a mexican resturant, and mashed in in between my fingers and gave him some

i think its fine to leave it chunky

and yes give him a bottle afterwards

and no i dont think you need to cut down on milk yet

ya he did it was cute,

and i just red in my book, that it says that it is still really importaint that your baby is getting enough milk, nad that between 6 months to a year your baby should get at least 18 ounces of milk a day

im going to start him on cereal first and it says i can mix that with the purees too

Don't cut him back on milk yet. Food is just for fun. 8/9 months - a year is when you start eliminating a little milk.

If there were little chunks, the avacado might not have been ripe enough. Kadens food always had chunks in it and he is a great chewer now.

at that age babies should be getting in between 30-40 ozs a day of formula! the milk is the most important!
