im 28 weeks pregnant and i noticed some light pinkish blood when i wiped after using the bathroom. i went to the er annd they examined me and said i was fine, but she put me on bedrest and told me not to have sex until i go in for my next prenatal appoinment. has anyone of you experienced that before in your 3rd trimester? (the light pinkish blood) ↓

I was at about 25 weeks in my pregnancy and had the same thing happen. I was out of town so I couldn't go in to see my doctor and called her. She said that I should just lay low and try to take it easy for a few days and see if it happened again. Luckily it didn't but she never really could determine what it was/what caused it. She just said that sometimes you can irritate the cervix and it can cause you to have a blood tinted discharge. She said as long as it was not bright red it should be okay. ↑
