i havent yet been to the doctor because im actually waiting on medicaid. but anyway, i was wondering what is the outcome of eating salt? i thought a while back i heard it wasnt god for the baby and i eat alot of it. i eat it on most of my fruits, most of my veggies, and mostly all my meats. its one thing i was raised to like on all my foods. and what about butter?

Salt isn't good because it raises your blood pressure. I eat alot of salt and i'm 17 weeks pregnant. My blood pressure is fine. As far as the baby my doctor didn't tell me it harms the baby, he said just watch ur sugar intake. Salt only swells u up. Especially now that ur pregnant.

hello, kyrsten.well from what ive heard salt is bad for both you ,and your baby ,for it is really bad for your heart if you ingest too much daily. even though you love salt on everything you must have in mind that you have 2 have your babies interest at heart it is bad for your blood pressure and will swell you up more than normal.try 2 cut down on it and youll see its for the best.best of luck for you and your baby.bet youll be a great mother.
