Tell me what an ordinary menu is for you from the time you get up til the time you go to bed. I'm trying to lose weight and need some ideas as to what you (already thin) people might have during a typical day.

u want infomation il give u some dnt starve urself like me is not gd i eat maybe a sandwich every2 days its not good coz now i am avin to go away to an mental health unit for aminimum of 7 weeks it has got that bad dont do it to urslef its not worth it huni im tellin u out of pure kindness if u r going to loose weight do it the right way with diets and exercisin at the gym dont not eat just eat the right foods at the right times as if u eat meals late at nite u r usually going to pile on the pounds 5 to 5:30 is the best coz it gives ur somach time to digest while u sleep n realx huni plz do it the right way x x xx wanna tlk more [email protected]

try cutting down on fryed food, um when you crave that chacolate and snacks try eating a nice salad, and not just salad and dressing, try making it a little apatizing, put cheese and peperoni and other things in it.. first off i dont know your eating habbits so i cant compair mine to yours.. i eat a bowl of cereal in the morning, maybe a sandwich and apple for lunch and for dinner a normal meal with meat and vegies and a side, but i usualy dont eat 2 plates. and i dont make my portions small, .. its actually good to eat smaller portions about 6 times a day, like sandwich and apples ... um , maybe some eggs and fruit.. try doing that. i also hear weight watchers point system works wonders.

hey lizzi,
ok so the fiiiirst time i started to diet,like seriously diet i had a planned meal for myself everyday
Morning: 1/4 cup oatmeal and cooked it with water not milk(the oatmeal is instant,70 calories, sorry silly american scales heh) then I added fat free free yogurt, like dannon,(which is 40 calories)so
Oatmeal-70 cal.
yogurt-40 or 45 depends if I wanted strawberry or blueberry =)
then i pack an apple, for if I got hungry either going to school or after my first class (which is 100 or 118, depending the size of the apple)
so thats = 228 calories, If you wanna eat,eat in the morning

Lunch: SALAD!!
-Shredded iceberg letteuce (plain ole' lettuce)- 10 maybe 15 or 20 calories (depending on how much I wanted)
-tomatoes-sliced,maybe equal to a half a tomatoe or more - 20 to 25 calories
-cucumbers-didnt really count the calories in those guys

-then id get slices of GRILLED chicken,of course Id cut the tops and bottoms off you i didnt eat any of the marinade or butter or oil they cooked it with.

-then most importantly dressing---vinegar,red wine,white wine, basalmic, but make sure if ur getting a salad out at a restuarant that they havnet mixed it with oil, cause that what basalmic dressing is(basalmic vine. and oil)but it totally kills your appetite and was proven that people that ate vinegar on the salads or any food im assuming, ate less!cool huh

then I usually have another apple. but it would be about 1 in the afternoon so i would usually be done with classes and go workout in the gym,I ran for 20 or more minutes pretty fast.no incline just sweat pants and a longsleeve tshirt-(extra sweating) then after if i was hungry id eat the rest of my apple

for a snack id eat celery, actually I ate ALOT of celery,still dooo!!
its great for you, its not dissolved in your body and its almost all water!!but id also snack on tomatoes or cucmbers

so for dinner it was hard if i was with my boyfriend cuz i didnt let myself eat past 7 oclock, and he was always hungry...i usually come home (around 3 or 4) and would be pretty hungry so id steam some brocolli or make another salad, I ate the brocolli with this fat free butter, idont know if you have it over in teh UK but its absolutely glorious!! and we have salad dressing over here thats only 20 or 25 calories per two table spoons!!!!
but for dinner it was hard Id try not to eat anything after 7 so if i did eat with my boyfriend or him and his family, I only eat like the vegetables, none of the meat, i steard clear of alot of meat. oh and I also ate Bran cereal, it helps your stomach digest your food!another glorious food.Oh fruit I ate fruit like craaazy, lots and lots of apples, some oranges, no pears cuz their high in calories for fruit, i ate pineapple cause its really acidic,which to me, i think it helps digest food too, oh i heard from my aunt whom is health concious, that any fruit starting with a "P" helps you go potty!! so pineapple,peaches,prunes(not raisins or dates),and pears but apricots do the same thing as pears. I stuck with fruits and veggies at night,strickly, because if you think about it fruit and veggies come from the earth,so they arnt processed and dont have any preservitives in them, and they have such a high percentage of water in them them fruits and veggies dissolves so quick into your system!! ooh and If I got sick of eat chicken on my salad i would ask them(the cafeteria ladies) to cut up some turkey slices for me instead of chicken, but not ham stear clear of ham because it makes you retain water and water will make you feel heavy. I hope this helps!!

oh i just read the other adds, I meant to tell you that, I became extremely anorexic and them turned bulimic, after I had lierally starved my body from this diet,because I took away my meats,and all oils,not fried stuff like she said, no pizza nooo cheese(stops you up,so no poops....=) )
I hardly ate anything and I worked out religiously, two three times a day,clenched my butt cheeks while I sat, and shook my legs really fast like i was nervous, usually ran in place if i couldnt get to a gym or if i was to tired, i ran for twenty minutes twice daily and did 200 crunches ...or more sometimes before I went to bed......If you can control how much you eat like the one girl said you'll do fine, but i must also tell you that when I did my diet, my entire world changed..and not in the good way, I am 5 feet 9 inches, and weighed 140 pounds, Really long torso,not the reeealy long legs but decent, continuous got comments on my "nice tushy"(booty)so Im guessing i had a pretty nice booty....for a white girl((Ive riden horses all my life and played field hockey, so you'll get those muscles built up you got yourself one goodlookin tushy))

I didn't see any of these things,I saw a big butt( I was a size 5, I had been that size for a long time) and big thighs....my boyfriend,whom was my first serious boyfriend,((we actually lived together....yea first year of college and I move in with my boyfriend....worst mistake ever,we fought alot and i had to lie to my parents about were i was alll the time..and plus I didnt have a car so I always needed to drive his, which kinda got to him a little but his roommate and him had class at the same times so they shared))BUT when I began to workout nonstop, my energy level fell....rock bottom, i didnt have any energy, i didnt have any energy to even argue if my boyf. were in a fight, and I was so tired all the time and i was hardly ever happy ( but that was the root of othe issues too...i.e.school,grades,making my BoyF happy (most important),stress(caused by my thoughts of what was i gonna eat next,when can I workout? how much did i eat? how many calories was that?(((i wrote down every calorie i had,which i tried to consume only 1000 or less a day,which is alot less then what your body needs))), parents,etc.etc
the stress i was putting on my body was killing me emotionally and physically, literally.I wasnt able to balance everything and then one day dont know when or how or what i was thinking but i grouged myself with tortilla chips and cookies and every sweet thing my boyf. roommate had in the house,i remember one night we were all over my boyf.'s parents house and i was so hungry and they ordered chinese ( and im a big time sucker for chinese food) so i left to get a change of clothes or something i dont remember and i came back and the food had a arrived and and they walked in to the other room and i pretty much ate my entire container and then some of theirs i felt horrrrible so i made up some excuse to go to their bathroom upstairs cause i needed to use the "bathroom" tand it would come up cause i was so nervous some one would walk in or hear me from downstairs. so then i made up another excuse they i had to go back to my boyf's house because i felt so sick and what i didnt realize what that theyall knew what i was doing...the bulimia and my loss of control DESTROYED my life my relationship my physical being, and most of all my spirit.so please dont take this diet ive provided to strickly. just ease in to it and give in.

sgt86,Thank-you for the info. and I'm in the U.S. by the way!!! :) Yeah I just restarted not eating after 7. It helped me before,I don't know why I stopped. But today is my second day so wish me luck! I'm the kind of person who likes to eat so I will be eatting lots of celery and cucumbers I think! I like snacking even when I'm not really hungry so those would be the perfect choice to always have around. I wish I didn't care about food much like normal people but sadly the love of food runs big in our family and it DIDN'T pass me by! LOL I just have to learn to eat the right kinds of things so the weight will come off,not pile on. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out and try your suggestions,thank-you again! :)

hey lizzi,
to be honest it really doesnt matter what 'skinny' people eat!generally people are skinny because of a fast metabolism!or and eating disorder but trust me when i say that you dont want to go down that road. im feeling the exact same as you but i from research ive learnt a thing or two.....
eat healthy foods fibre and salads...drink green tea as it has antioxidants. dont eat after 7pm and for dinner try not to eat any carbs...ie pasta,rice,potatoes...instead have a good bit of meat and fill half your plate with green vegetbles! it you work out at the gym or are exercising in general the most efficient fat loss workout is interval training(look it up on youtube)..interval training means your working out to the max for an allocated short period of time...for example 30secs...then you take a break for 60 secs and repeat this over and over!this increases fitness and promotes fat loss because you body is being pushed hard so more oxygen is needed around your body and so it uses energy(fat)to make this oxygen. aerobic cardio is not as good because you become used to doing the action..for example a 30min run--(you dont get fitter) . then when your finished the run (doing regular cardio) your body instantly stops burning calories. whereas in interval training you keep burning fat for up to 48hours after exercising because your body is still recovering.sorry this is a realy vague explanation but it really works!and youll get fit!!!!!
