I am 14, and 5'3", weigh about 119. I need someone to talk to who has the same problem that I do. I feel that i can't stop eating. I feel that I am over weight, but my friend says that I am not. I want to believe her, but I just can't. I want to weigh a lot less, maybe when I start high school, I will be popular(maybe) if I weigh a LOT less. (around 100 lbs.)
I really need someone to talk to right now. Someone who has problems like I do.

I am a 42 year old girl, I say girl because I no longer get periods...and no it is not memopause..it's from my discusting way I veiw my body. You guessed it. I have struggled with an eating disorder Ana And bul for 20 years. I have a nine year old daughter who is really starting to see what this world is like. Our society ia Comsumed with thinness Any suggestions?

Firstly you need to calm down.
From what you have said you dont have 'problems' your just being someone who likes to think that have eating issues when really yout just wanting to lose some weight and making a mountain out of a mole hill.
get over it.

What you have arent problems . You are probably going to the peek of your puberty right now which means you experience changes, one of them gaining weight. If you are SO worried just keep track of what you eat and if you see you are eating too much of a certain thing and not enough of another then balance it out and you will be fine. You wont experience major craving because you will be giving you body what it needs.

to courttt, im also 14 years old, im around 5"4 and about 107 pounds, like most girls i fell insecure about my body weight. i think im 'fat' and have gone on countless diets to lose the weiht with little or no success, ive recently found myself throwing up after i eat, and my friends go found out. id recomend simply excersize and good eating, abotu 1300 calories a day, dont let yourself get so down, and dont start purging, its hard to stop, really hard. being skinny wont make you more popular, honestly, i have a lot of friends and im known out of school by a lot of people, im not exactly skinny, but im not overweight or fat, if i was skinnier it wouldnt boost my popularity more so, it doesnt change really anything, you sound like your in the healthy weight range, you dont seem as though youd be 'fat', its just self perception. if you keep feeling down about your body, lose weight, healthily, i lost weight healthily and i had a good self body image for a while, but be aware, losing weight is like a drug, it gets addictive. never get sucked into eating disorders, its a dark place to be.

im 13 5'4 and 110 pounds. my frends all say i need to gain weight but i want to loose. i know how you feel.
