DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME, I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY DAUGHTERS SECONDARY SCHOOL, SHE HAD A BRAIN TUMOUR NEARLY SEVEN YEARS AGO WHEN SHE TURNED SEVEN, SHE HAS BEEN ALLOCATED 15 HOURS LSA HELP IN THE CLASSROOM AND 5 HOURS SCHOOL HELP TOTALLING 20 HOURS OUT OF A 25 HOURS WEEK, SO BASICALLY SHE SHOULD HAVE HELP MOST OF THE TIME SAY 4 HOURS A DAY BUT SHE GETS ABOUT TEN MINUTES EACH LESSON FOR 5 LESSONS SO BASICALLY SHE GETS 50 MINUTES ADAY SO THEY R USING MY DAUGHTER TO GET PAID HELP TO HELP OTHERS ANT TO MAKE THE TEACHERS DAY EASIER, IS THERE ANYONE THAT IS GOING THROUGH THE SAME PLEASE

Hi Lorraine i am afraid this happens everywhere. there is very little you can do about it. It happened to me and when I complained to SENO i was told that once the funds for SNA's are allocated to the school it is up to the principal of the school to employ and designate duties to the SNA. In my case I had to take my son out of that school, he was only 5 at the time.
