There is help available, you will need to be patient with him and like brandy says you need to give him some confidence not take it away.

I suffered from dyslexia and totally hated school. Now I have been through a programme that has turned my life around and the affects of dyslexia on my life are now completely minimal.

I believe that everyone deserves their chance in life, learning difficlulties really prevent this from happening.

You need to make sure that your son gets the help he needs to have the chance he deserves.

Kayla,
If your son has not been tested get him tested and see exactly what is going on. Then you need to be an advocate for his rights. You'll need to make sure he gets exactly what he needs and you also can get help as a family to deal with his disabilities. Don't give up and good luck.
