I know this is not the right kind of place to ask this sort of question but social security cant seem to give me a sraight answer so Im going out on a limb here in hopes that someone may have experienced this same type of situation. Im on ssi and my husband works. If he makes over a certain amount,my ssi check starts to be affected. Okay,I get that. What Im trying to find out from anyone who knows,is what happens to my ssi check once my teen starts working?? I would appreciate any information you may be able to give. Like I said,I tried to find out through social security but they just beat around the bush and wont give me a straight answer so I figured I cant be the only one out there in this situation and thought someone here may be able to fill me in from their own experience,or may know someone in this same situation and knows how it works.
